Kitimat LNG is a planned two-train, 10 mmtpa LNG export project in western Canada, located at Bish Cove in British Columbia. Originally permitted in 2006 for the purpose of building a regas terminal, the project was subsequently changed to an LNG export terminal. The export project received its Federal Environmental Certificate in January 2009 and export licence from the National Energy Board (NEB) in October 2011.
