Report summary
Mount Morgans Gold Operation (MMGO) is an open pit and underground gold mine located in the Laverton gold district of Western Australia. Dacian Gold declared commercial production at MMGO on January 01, 2019. Mining is currently focused on the open pit Jupiter mine, which includes Doublejay, Heffernans, Mt Marven and Ganymede sub pits. Underground operations sourced from the Westralia mine area, are currently suspended but will restart from December 2021 quarter. The operation comprises a 2.5 Mtpa CIL treatment plant.

- In November 2023, Genesis Minerals acquired Dacian Gold, which owned 100% of the Mount Morgans mine. In October 2024, Genesis restarted the Laverton mill which was originally known as the Mt Morgans processing plant. The profile will no longer be updated and will be covered under Genesis' Leonora operations - Sgw.
