Olen, Umicore - Nickel sulphate refinery

Operated by Umicore, the Olen plant is located in Belgium. The plant has over 100 years history for non-ferrous metals producing. The plant is 100% owned by Umicore. In 2021, the Olen plant was estimated to have a 27.0ktpa nickel sulphate capacity (containing 6.0ktpy Ni). Feedstock was from nickel speiss and recyclable industrial and batteries waste.
