The low oil price continues to impact upstream projects in Asia-Pacific – since Q4 2014, we’ve axed US$77 billion of capital expenditure that was forecast to be spent over the 2016-2020 period. This results in a production loss of 2.9 billion barrels of oil equivalent over the next five years, or 1.6 million boe/d on an annual average basis.
