Caupolicán is a large exploration block in the Magallanes basin in southern Chile. The block was awarded to Greymouth Petroleum through its subsidiary PetroMagallanes in the 2007 licensing round, and the contract was finalised in April 2009. State company ENAP took a non-operating 50% stake under the terms of the bidding.
