Report summary
Chad is Sub-Saharan Africa's sixth largest producing country. The Doba Oil Project started production in 2003, reaching peak output of 183,000 b/d within a year. Production declined steeply over the following decade to 83,000 b/d in 2013. Three subsequent projects- Benoy, Block H and Badila and Mangara have since boosted Chad's production to 190,000 b/d in 2025. Production will plateau around current levels through 2027 before entering gradual decline without major new discoveries ...
