Report summary
The Moranbah Gas Project is a coal seam gas (CSG) project located in the northern Bowen Basin, Queensland. The field produces from the Permian aged Moranbah and Fort Cooper coals. The Moranbah field was discovered in 1993. Pilot gas production began in April 2001.
