Report summary
The Otway project consists of an onshore gas processing facility and the Geographe and Thylacine gas fields, located in the offshore Otway Basin, between 55-70 kilometres from the Victorian coast. Thylacine was developed first, using an offshore platform and subsea pipeline to shore, and began production in September 2007. FID on Geographe was reached in October 2011, and it was brought onstream in July 2013 through a subsea tie-back to the Thylacine platform.
