Report summary
The Scotland-Northern Ireland Pipeline (SNIP) is a gas interconnector running 135 kilometres from Twynholm in southwest Scotland to Ballylumford in Northern Ireland. Construction took three years and completed in 1996. It supplies gas to the 688 MW Ballylumford power station.
