The twelve West Zagros fields are located onshore in western Iran, close to the Iran-Iraq border. They include eleven oil fields and one gas field, Tang-e-Bijar. These fields are managed by the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
