Utilities, hyperscalers, and other offtakers are seeking a broader mix of resources to balance affordability, reliability, and emissions goals – from collocated solar and storage to SMRs and gas. Solar and energy storage are gaining share, bolstered by their cost profile and development timeline. These advantages help meet the surge in demand from data centers and reshored manufacturing. At the same time, geopolitical volatility and supply-chain pressures are reshaping market conditions.
In this environment, utilities, developers, IPPs, and investors need a broad view of the power market to make sound decisions. To reflect this shift, Wood Mackenzie’s longstanding Solar & Energy Storage Summit is expanding to become the North American Power & Renewables Forum.
• Can the U.S. achieve energy leadership over the long-term without greater policy consistency?
• Tariffs, international conflicts and rising interest rates are adding cost pressures. What level of increase will stifle demand growth?
• Has FERC interconnection reform successfully removed blockers to transmission development? Where is further reform needed?
• Is USA-made solar and storage cheaper per watt, would it survive without credits, and who absorbs the price difference?
• Every major hyperscaler has signed a nuclear PPA; what role will nuclear play in their long-term energy strategy?
• To what extent can mature renewable technologies such as wind, solar, and storage contribute to clean firm generation?

Be part of the agenda and get your brand in front of the audience through a panel discussion or a fireside chat with a senior Wood Mackenzie Analyst.
As a commercial partner, your organization will be mixing with the industry decision-makers and influencers who are seeking investment, partnerships, and the latest business enhancing-technologies.
