Zhaoyu Wu​

Zhaoyu focuses on China’s energy storage market, covering market outlooks, policy and regulatory developments, project economics, technology trends and the evolving role of energy storage in the power system.​

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Zhaoyu was a researcher at Columbia University’s Centre on Global Energy Policy, where his work covered power markets, energy infrastructure, battery supply chains and critical materials. He also worked as an analyst at GTI Energy, focusing on energy infrastructure and data-driven energy research.​
